When doing work for a client, it is understood that there will be “confidentiality of work”.  Such CoW means that no details of the client’s request is to be made public.  That is a given.  And sometimes, a client will also request that their identity be kept confidential.

Working as a consultant means that such common sense confidentiality is part of my services.

As a consultant with extensive experience in such situations, I consider such behaviour a courtesy to clients… and a rule to live by.
